As the owner and lead photographer (and let’s be real, also the editor, accountant, errand runner, and more), I pour my soul into capturing the moments that matter most. I was born and raised in the small town of Mattoon, Illinois, where I still roam today with a camera in hand, capturing the world around me. Over the past decade, what began as a hobby grew into something far greater—photographing for my high school newspaper in 2011, then taking pictures for family and friends, and eventually building a full-service photography business that fuels my passion.

My love for photography is deeply personal. Growing up, we didn’t own a camera, and as a result, there are only a handful of images from my childhood. That absence drove me to become obsessed with preserving precious memories for others—the moments that make life meaningful. I believe in the beauty of the small things, the depth of human connection, and the magic of living in the present moment.

Fueled by a deep love for travel and storytelling, I specialize in capturing unforgettable moments wherever your journey takes you. While I’m based in a small town in Central Illinois called Mattoon, and regularly serve the greater Chicago area, I also photograph sessions and weddings in the St. Louis and Indianapolis areas fairly often. I’m always ready to travel beyond. Whether you're planning a celebration in the Midwest or dreaming of a destination wedding across the country, I’ll meet you there, camera in hand.

When I'm not photographing, you can find me at a metal show, enjoying sangria at a winery, cuddling with my animals, reading a good book, or seeing a horror movie at the theatre.

Fun Facts about me:

1. I am always trying to stay caffeinated, and you can usually find me ordering a white chocolate raspberry or blueberry chai at a local coffee shop.
2. I went to college for dental hygiene before taking the plunge into full time photography, so clients often joke that I'm "all about smiles."😂
3. Music is a huge part of my life, I'm a bit of a concert junkie. My favorite bands are A Day to Remember, Movements, and The Amity Affliction. I've survived many mosh pits in my day.
4. I am always down for an adventure. I absolutely love traveling, seeing beautiful places, and making memories.
5. I have 3 cats (Pika, Eevee, Theo), and two dogs (Mac and Archer).
6. My favorite color is mauve. You'll often see me wearing my signature lipstick in this shade.
7. I'm obsessed with flavored popcorns. Don't ask me why, but it's my go to snack. If you're ever trying to win me over, this is the way to my heart.
