Where It All Began
My journey into photography didn’t start with a fancy camera. It started with a feeling — that aching pull to hold on to a moment just a little longer. Growing up in a low income household, we didn’t even own a camera. There are only a handful of photos from my childhood, and that absence planted a seed in me — a quiet but relentless desire to preserve what’s fleeting. Eventually, I picked up a camera in high school while studying journalism and something clicked — literally and emotionally. I knew this was where I belonged.
I’ve always been drawn to emotion and connection. The stolen glances, the wild laughter, the little details we often overlook. The messy, beautiful, in-between? That’s where the magic lives. Over the past decade, what started as a passion turned into a full-service photography business — one that lets me pour my heart into capturing the messy, magical, real parts of life.
When you book with me, you’re not just getting someone to show up and click a shutter. You’re getting someone who’s fully invested. I’ll be the one hyping you up, calming your nerves, fixing flyaway hairs, and making sure you feel seen — not just photographed.
My Approach
I’m not about stiff poses or fake smiles. My style is true to color with a moody edge — rich, warm, and deeply honest. I want your photos to feel like you — not a version of you that was filtered or forced.
I prefer prompting over posing. We’ll snuggle close, pick wildflowers, run barefoot, dance like no one’s watching, and laugh until it hurts. I’ll guide you into movement and connection, not perfection — because that’s where your real story lives.
When you book a session with me, we’re not just taking photos. We’re preserving the little moments you’ll never want to forget. I create space for you to relax, breathe, and be fully present — because that’s where the magic lives.

I believe in the power of connection. In the little things. In the raw, real, emotional pieces of your story. I don’t take this job lightly. Every session is personal, and every gallery I deliver is a reflection of the love, energy, and soul I pour into this work. My heart is wrapped up in every image, and my greatest joy is handing over a gallery that makes someone tear up (in the best way).

🎬 When I’m Not Shooting or Editing:
When I’m not shooting or editing (and trust me, I’m always editing), I live for those little joys — the moments that feel like “me.” You can probably find me doing one of the following:
- Headbanging at a metal show
- Playing Animal Crossing
- Cuddling my animals
- Reading a good book
- Watching horror movies at the theater
- Daydreaming about my next travel adventure
- Spending time with Jesse (my partner of 9 years)
☕ Favorite Coffee Order:
Coffee wise, a white chocolate mocha or any coffee with cookie butter or an obscene amount of caramel in it, but I'm usually more of a chai gal. A white chocolate raspberry or blueberry chai to be specific. Bonus points if it’s from a local shop. Even more bonus points if it comes with a pastry I didn’t need but absolutely ordered anyway (cinnamon rolls and frosted sugar cookies are a weakness).
🐾 My Furry Chaos Crew:
I have three cats (Pika, Eevee, and Theo) and two dogs (Mac and Archer). They’re all ridiculously spoiled and 100% part of my editing team (in spirit, not skill — they mostly nap on my lap or beside me while I work).
🎶 Editing Playlist Vibes:
Music is a huge part of my life. When I’m editing, you’ll usually hear A Day to Remember, Movements, or The Amity Affliction blasting in the background. Yes, I’ve survived my fair share of mosh pits, and yes, I consider that a core personality trait. Also a huge fan of listening to ghost stories and true crime podcasts.
🎟️ Always Down for an Adventure
Whether it’s exploring the Midwest or chasing light in faraway places, travel lights me up. Every new place gives me a fresh perspective and new stories to tell. I’ll never stop chasing that kind of beauty.
🌟 Other Fun Facts:
- My favorite color is mauve, and I definitely have a signature lipstick to match.
- I have a decent amount of tattoos, like 20, idk I lost count. As an artist, I love supporting other artists and being a canvas. I also happen to share a building with Inkcap Tattoo Parlour (aka my bestie, Chelsey, who is a tattoo artist).
- I studied dental hygiene before photography took over my life — so yeah, people like to say I’m “all about smiles.”😂
- I’m obsessed with flavored popcorn. Don’t ask me why. Just know it’s my love language.
- I keep way too many notes in my phone — photo ideas, dream shoot locations, random thoughts at 2 a.m., grocery lists I never check. It's basically my second brain at this point.
- I’ve accidentally called my camera “my baby” more than once — and honestly, it’s not not true.

My Dream Team
One of the most special parts of this journey? I get to share it with two of my favorite people — my sister, Nev, and my partner of 9 years, Jesse — my ride-or-die team who knows me better than anyone.
We’ve got our rhythm down to a science. While I’m capturing the emotional in-betweens, they’re handling everything from gear wrangling and lighting to calming nerves and keeping the day flowing smoothly. We’re more than just a photography team — we’re a support system, a calming presence, and sometimes even dress wranglers or boutonnière pinners.
At weddings, we’re a well-oiled (and slightly chaotic) machine. Jesse is my drone operator and second shooter — always chasing the best angles and making sure every big moment is captured from above and beyond. Nev is my second shooter, videographer, BTS paparazzi, and studio assistant — the calm in the storm and the creative mind who keeps everything flowing beautifully.
We know each other so well that we can communicate with just a look (or a wildly exaggerated hand signal across the ceremony space). Having them by my side means I can be even more present, focused, and fully immersed in your day — knowing we’ve got every detail covered from every angle.
